How To Go To Heaven

At the end of the road,
                   -you will meet God.

The most important relationship in a person’s life is the one they have with God. This relationship will determine whether a person spends eternity in heaven or hell.

Sin (breaking the laws of God) separates us from a relationship with God and keeps us from going to heaven. The Bible tells us that Jesus came to earth to be a sacrifice for our sins. He died on a cross, was buried and rose bodily from the dead on the third day. He showed himself to many proving he had risen. After 40 days he ascended to heaven. By accomplishing these things, he is an appropriate sacrifice for your sins. If you are not sure of your eternal destiny or your relationship with God, read the following passages of Scripture and with a heart of faith pray the simple prayer at the bottom.

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God".

This means that everyone has broken to laws of God and because of this we cannot go to heaven on account of our own goodness.

Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us".

This verse tells us that God Loved us so much, He sent his Son Jesus to die for our sins. Even though we did not deserve it.

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life, in Jesus Christ our Lord".

This verse tells us that the price to be paid for sin is death. This is why everyone, even you, are destined to die. Sin is the reason there is pain, disease, death and hurts in this World. But God has offered the gift of salvation through Jesus.

Romans 10:9 "That If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you shall be saved, for it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

This verse holds the key to eternal life. Confessing that Jesus is Lord and believing that He was rasied from the dead is what is necessary to be saved from your sinfulness and eternal punishment in hell.

Prayer for salvation :

Dear Heavenly Father, I confess my sinfulness to you. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead so that I could inherit eternal life. I confess Jesus as my Savior and Lord. Now Father I want to live for you, help me to live for you. Thank you for saving me. -AMEN
